The Henson Motor Group has been selected as finalists in two categories for AM magazines national motor industry awards.
The awards take place on February 27 at the International convention centre in Birmingham.
The group is the only North East Company to make it to the final four in the best used car retailer and best independent dealership categories.
The awards take place annually to recognise and reward achievements made by leading car dealers, repairers and car makers.
Group company director David Wilson said: ”It’s a real boost to get recognition, especially nationally. It’s an honour.”
Henson say that the opening of the groups second dealership at the Vroom Car retail park on the Tyne Tunnel trading estate in January and the planned opening of the third dealership at Metro Centre East Business Park next month heavily influenced the judges decision to put Henson’s through to the final.
